On 14 February, LonAgro Angola; the official Angolan dealers for John Deere held a workshop where new and existing clients could get hands-on with a host of exciting John Deere tractors and machinery.
50 guests were invited to the workshop which was held at the Fazenda Kambondo and ACN farm in Quibala in the Kwanza-sul Province. These guests included customers; local authorities, and TM and TSCM training staff from John Deere South Africa. The company was also excited to welcome their partners; ANGOPRI and FERPLAS to come and experience what John Deere has to offer.
John Deere Tractors
During the workshop, guests were given the opportunity to get up close with the John Deere 5075J and 6130J tractors, together with the John Deere 670 disc-harrow which were put through their paces out in the field.
John Deere W70 Combine Harvester
The star of the workshop was undoubtedly the John Deere W70 Combine Harvester. This Indian built machine is an affordable solution for smaller farmers looking for a good quality harvester. For the LonAgro workshop, the W70 was equipped with a soya bean header which performed perfectly out in the field. During the workshop’s theoretical sessions, guests were taken through the finer details of the W70’s technical specifications and how they could to get the best out of this impressive piece of machinery.
This was the first workshop that LonAgro Angola has held this year, and the company looks forward to hosting many more throughout the year to help get clients better acquainted with the range of top-quality John Deere products that they have available.
